David Daniel

I’m David, a software engineer based in Crestone, Colorado. I build full-stack applications with TypeScript and React, and care about shipping things that actually help people without making the codebase a nightmare. Currently at ILLA Labs, working at the intersection of AI and finance.

Before this I spent several years in crypto and fintech startups. In 2023 I took a year off for a meditation retreat at a Tibetan Buddhist monastery here in Crestone—something I’d wanted to do for a long time.
